A solo facade study of a building with neo-classical style in Athens, Greece. The facade was drawn after observation and photos. The objective is to appreciate proportion, line weight, and ornamentation.
The facade was drawn in AutoCAD.

The project is to intervene the pedestrian flow around the sand dunes to minimize erosion. The project is a swing on the path, free for anybody to use while walking to and from the beach. The challenge is to stabilise user movement using cheap materials. Triangular forms stiffen and give the swing aesthetic qualities.
The swing is connected only by 4 bolts and glued wooden dowels.

The project is an apartment building on the corner of Iraklidon and Dimofontos streets in Athens, Greece. The proposal is an apartment building of two offset volumes joined by a central staircase. The program is compact: a mix of several apartment types and a commercial space on the ground floor.
The goal is to amend the existing corner condition while maintaining the character of the neighbourhood. Currently, the site is an empty lot, abandoned and overgrown with plants.

The project is the integration of the architecture, music, and art faculties under one roof and into the urban setting of Leutenhaven neighbourhood of Trondheim, Norway. Currently, the faculties are disparate around the city and without any useful synergy among the students and faculty. An integrated campus can bring about collaboration among the faculty and with the public.

Project about the conservation and transformation of a residence building in Trondheim, Norway. The first part of the project is to document the building for Trondheim's heritage conservation committee. The second part is a transformation proposal where the ground floor is occupied by a university institute to create a public interface.

My master thesis is set in the year 2035 when Draugen, a reusable and moveable oil platform in the Norwegian sea is moved closer to Stavanger, Norway for reuse. The project is an interpretation center for Draugen on the shores of Mortavika, Norway. The theme around the oil industry in Norwegian history is polarizing as either a fairytale or nightmare.
With my thesis, I wanted to explore the theme of uncomfortable architecture and how certain typologies are polarizing.

Detail/construction phase for an apartment building in Sandefjord, Norway. The project is in a protected plaza, frequented by local and visitor traffic. It was important for the project to re-affirm the classical style while introducing modern ideas.
I was part of a small team under the direction of project architect and the technical drafter. My tasks included creating construction drawings for the project builder. These included detail drawings for the staircase, window detail, railing details, roof details, among others.
The BIM model and the construction drawings were done in ArchiCAD.

Submitted for construction approval (Rammesøknad). I was involved in the development stage, working on the apartment, parking, and facade components. I made drawings for the neighbour and municipal approvals. Made in collaboration with project leads and technical drafters.
The project involves 5 apartment buildings compliant to municipal regulations. There are 97 apartments and a common parking space in the basement. The project complies with the Norwegian Regulations on technical requirements for construction works (TEK17).
Software used is ArchiCAD. Thumbnail submitted by SPIR to municipality.

Cultural center and library (Completed 2022)
Involved in the concept development phase (skisse/forprosjekt) of a cultural building project for a small municipality, containing a library, dance and music studios, a healthcare clinic, and a youth center.
My task was to create facade concepts for a cultural center in Rælingen, Norway. Under the direction of the project architect and other team members, our proposal for wooden facade with metal components were approved. In addition, I gave input in the room program and performed estimations for the daylight conditions within the building.
The illustrations were submitted to the municipality for public feedback. The software used were ArchiCAD, Twinmotion, and Adobe Photoshop.
